This gem uses the ancient Greek Hymn text translated by John Brownlie set to the Kentucky Harmony tune MORNING SONG, from 1813. The SSA and piano arrangement by David Lantz III features an optional soprano descant on the final verse. This is an excellent offering for the Advent season, and it's preparation by the choir will take little time. Traditional sounding...and appealing!
