Based on the folk tune MORNING SONG, this anthem anticipates the coming of Christ in hopeful prose. Features a flexible introit to allow for appropriate scripture readings (an Advent reading is included with the score). Optional handbells and hand drum add brilliance to this striking arrangement for SATB voices.
