As a collaborative pianist, I find this collection of Philip Glass's music from 'The Hours' provides a wonderfully rich and intricate piano texture. Excellent for Advancing Students
This Philip Glass collection from 'The Hours' is an excellent resource for my late-intermediate piano students. The SMP Level 6 accurately reflects the challenge, with 4-note chords and complex, irregular rhythms that are fantastic for developing rhythmic accuracy and hand independence. The standard notation is clear and well-engraved, making it easy to read. A great introduction to minimalist style for dedicated learners.
