I've kept mainly to the original melodies - but added a few melodic and harmonic twists here and there. Oh, and there's a key-change to keep the listener on their toes!!
The lyrics have been provided on the video - but please note that the melody won't always fit the lyrics in the places that I have added melodic variations. Use the lyrics as a guide only.
No pianist? No problem! There are 2 backing tracks: 1) with piano, bass - and sleigh bells!, and 2) piano only. Each backing track begins with a 5-beat count-in, and the first 8 bars (measures) are silent on the backing tracks, so flutists should play the opening solo in strict time, otherwise they will be out of the time when the accompaniment joins the melody at the upbeat to bar (measure) 9.
