Roy Nichols is probably best known for his guitar work with Made Haggard, but his guitar work appears on many other artists' recordings. Terry describes the various techniques used by Roy including pre-bend and release, and diminished arpeggios.

Terry Downs has taken a new approach to guitar instruction. It uses a close-up bird’s-eye view camera angle, just like you would see yourself play. The material is played full speed as a demo, then the bird’s-eye view is used when describing the notes in detail. This new bird’s-eye view approach shows the fingers on the fretboard with stunning detail never captured before on an instructional video.
