The Good Shepherd (Unison/Two-part) Unison Choir - Sheet Music

First, a choice of accompaniments is available: either piano or organ, or better still, handbells. The handbell part conveniently lists a recommended division of notes for eight ringers. The obbligato solo part may be played by flute, alto recorder, or any other available C-instrument. The music is simple enough to allow a younger primary choir to sing one of the parts. If your group is large enough, the choir could divide, and then sing the optional 2-part writing at the end. Another possibility would be to use this work in a choir festival where two or more choirs participate. Voicing: Unison (optional 2-part) with piano, organ, or handbells and flute, alto recorder, or other C-Instrument Composer: Pauline Delmonte Text: Melcena Burns Denny (1876-1974) Season: Lent, Easter, Ordinary/General Lectionary: Year A - Lent - Fourth Sunday of Lent; Year A - Lent - Fourth Sunday in Lent; Year A - Easter - Fourth Sunday of Easter; Year B - Easter - Fourth Sunday of Easter; Year C - Easter - Fourth Sunday of Easter; Year A - Season after Pentecost - Proper 23 (28); Year B - Season after Pentecost - Proper 11 (16) Scripture: Psalm 23
