Other-worldly beauty
This piece represents a seamless mix of ancient Gregorian chant and modern polyphony. In this quiet haunting music I experience the profound mystery expressed in John's prologue - The Word became flesh and dwelled among us, and we saw his glory, the glory that he has from the Father as only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. I look forward to have my choir singing it again this Advent/Christmas.
