The missionary zeal I feel is not some holy grail, But simple service to each friend on both sides of the veil. Through temple doors we living go, with God to there commune And save the spirits of our dead to whom our hearts are tuned. By proxy, temple covenants release their souls from jail And link the lives of all the world on both sides of the veil. To do the work of gathering needs little more than love And listening to heaven's voice, the Spirit from above. Expand my heart to care for all that I may never fail To reach the ones who wait for me on both sides of the veil.
