Flute solo with piano accompaniment. These arrangements of the eight most beloved pieces from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker are perfect for the early flute student of all ages. The pitch range is from D just above Middle C, to B a fourteenth above. The selections are all in 2/4, 3 /4 or 4/4 time signatures, the key signatures do not exceed two sharps or two flats and there are minimal accidentals. Each piece comes with piano accompaniment for the fullest experience possible of the music. The piano parts are all scored with the solo instrument above. No suggested tempos are given so that the teacher may determine the best speed for a particular student, while still maintaining the original flavor of these well known pieces.
