Composed by Michael Connolly. Choral. Choral. Sacred. Octavo. 12 pages. GIA Publications #5358. Published by GIA Publications (GI.G-5358).

English. Text by Thomas Troeger.

A marvelous five-stanza text that thanks the Lord for our ancestors in the faith. This could be an excellent choice for anniversaries, especially milestone anniversaries in the life of a church community. Composed as a concertato for assembly and choir with optional brass and timpani. The tune, though nicely developed with various choral treatments, is quite accessible for the assembly. Brass quartet and timpani parts are optional.

A marvelous five-stanza text that thanks the Lord for our ancestors in the faith.
