THE ENSEMBLE ROOM is a series of flexible chamber ensembles designed for real band room situations where instrumentation doesn't always line up perfectly.
This volume includes 6 Quartets that can be performed by many combinations of instruments (including strings). Parts are organized by range, allowing directors to create ensembles using whatever players are available.
The series is color-coded by difficulty level so directors can quickly identify appropriate music:
Red = Grade 1 - 1.5
Green = Grade 2
Blue = Grade 3
Purple = Grade 4
Each set includes a concert-pitch coaching score for easy rehearsal and flexible parts designed for a wide variety of instrument combinations. *The concert-pitch is perfect for festival adjudicators.
