The Swedish Ballet, Les Ballets Suédois, was based in Paris from 1920 to 1925. It represented something new, a synthesis of modern art through its collaboration with the leading artists of the day, including Satie, Ravel, Léger, Picabia, Cocteau and Paul Claudel. Lidström's The Dying Dandy forms a part of the 2020 centenary celebrations.
