#TheDrovers is a short poem by C.J.Dennis about where drovers ride. Geoff Rod Thomson,(me), while keeping the tune extremely simple(bordering on boring;) decided to experiment with his (dis)chord progressions when writing his accompanying music to this poem. To be honest, and I confess, this piece was just an example of pure self-indulgence with chord experimentation on my part and has next-to-no similarity to my other kid songs so my recommendation unless you're into 'acoustic pain' is to move on to my next C.J.Dennis song.....for those who I haven't scared off, feel free to try it out for yourselves.
