Solid Transcriptions for Jazz Gigs
This Dizzy Gillespie collection is a great asset for professional trumpet players. The inclusion of chord names above the transcribed solos is invaluable for quick reference or playing with a rhythm section on a gig. These artist transcriptions provide authentic lines suitable for requests at jazz events. While 104 pages means a fair few page turns, the repertoire selection is excellent and worth the minor inconvenience.
