The Cross Says Come
I started to cry when I listened to this song the first time and knew it was the one I was to use for my Men's chorus to sing for Good Friday. in the Catholic Church where I direct music. I also wanted my whole choir to experience the beauty of this piece, so the men and women of my 15 person choir ministered it on Palm Sunday and the men on Good Friday for the Veneration of the Cross. We are singing it again as part of a program for a Deaconate Dinner. It's something you want to sing, so I'll be looking for opportunities again and next year! The arrangement is fine- I adapted it to my men's chorus- different things you can do depending on the size group you have. Thank you for this song!
