As a mature student of the Clarinet for the last two years, I was delighted to discover the Clarinet Selection, and it has really lived up to my expectations. I am mainly interested in calssical music, and I found this a wonderful eclectic selection of clarinet pieces or adaptations ranging from Bach to modern composers. There is also a stimulating variety in musical styles. I also like the inclusion of sheet music for piano accompaniment. It is also very helpful to have CD recordings for the accompaniment with soloist and alone. My only criticism is that some of the accompaniments started immediately without any introduction, which means the clarinet player cannot start with the accompaniment. Overall, this is a great Collection and great value. I can fully recommend it.
