Originally a piano miniature from part of Danish composer Niels Gade's suite The Children's Christmas Eve, oboe, the set includes a clarinet alternative to the horn part and a bass clarinet option to the bassoon. The existing oboe part could also be played effectively on flute.

A joyous little march that is fun to play., this arrangement is primarily for wind quintet of flute.
