The Burgomeister's March was originally written for a brass group in São Paulo led by Rodrigo Burgo (hence the title!). It is tuneful and relatively simple, with melodies and countermelodies divided up between vartious sections of the band. The arrangement is so made that a reduced instrumentation still sounds complete, helpful for smallr or incomplete bands.
