True to the spirit and nicely crafted!
This arrangement of the Blue Danube Waltz for two voices (SA) is very singable and embodies the character of the original work. If you have a good accompanist, the vocal lines interact well with the piano part to bring out the energy and beauty of the waltz. My only disappointment is in the English lyrics, which are extremely pedantic! We chose to adapt the original German-language lyrics from the vocal solo version and that works very well. I am rating this as Intermediate level, because it requires of the singers a good stylistic sense of the contrasting sections, motifs and harmonic changes.
