Killed at the Battle of the Somme at the age of just 31, he still had a lasting impact on music. A contemporary of Vaughan Williams, he successfully incorporated folk songs into his works. The Banks of Green Willow is his most popular work, and for many a work that represented the countless unknown soldiers who died during the War. As with all Zephyrwindmusic publications, parts come with an Unlimited Copy License, thus removing any copyright issues in the way parts are used.
