The poem by Longfellow is set to the beautiful tune of the English folk song "Fanny Blair". The music has a modal feel, and owes much to the early 20th century English song composers, Vaughan Williams, Butterworth and others.
This arrangement is for two part SA choir and piano. It is a little more challenging than many of my two-part arrangements.
I also have an version for SSA choir and piano available, and an a cappella version for SSAA choir.
