"Thanksgiving Dance" is the third work in a suite of pieces for piano called "Autumn Dances". This piece reflects the many cultures that celebrate the end of the harvest season with a gathering of family and friends as a time to socialize and give thanks for the bounty they have reaped. It is a time for family and friends to share and celebrate, but also a time for solemn reflection on the past year and preparation for the winter ahead.
