Surprisingly Improvisational

When my vocal trio was given alternate lyrics to this tune and a request to perform it for a philanthropic organization, I purchased this arrangement as accompaniment. Previewing page 1, I didn't realize that much of the second half is largely jazzy and improvisational--barely recognizable as Thanks For the Memory. We made it work, using pages 1-2 and writing a new ending. A jazz lover might find this an interesting piano solo. But it's not my cup of tea.
