The Overture Terra di Montagne (Land of the Mountains) pays homage to the beautiful mountains of Tyrol. The piece begins with a powerful opening fanfare, followed by an Allegro con brio. The peaceful middle section features a solo cornet, followed by a restatement of the opening theme, and then ends in a grandiose finale.

L’ouverture Terra di Montagne (Pays des Montagnes) est un hommage au paysage montagneux magnifique du Tirol. Le morceau commence avec une fanfare puissante, suivie d’un Allegro con Brio. Après un mouvement central tranquille, dans lequel le cornet solo est le centre d’attention, s’ensuit le thème du début, qui aboutit en une finale grandiose.

Die Ouvertüre Terra di Montagne, was übersetzt Land der Berge bedeutet, ist eine Hommage an die wunderschöne Landschaft der Tiroler Berge. Das Werk beginnt mit einer wuchtigen Eröffnungsfanfare, gefolgt von einem Allegro con brio. Nach einem ruhigen Mittelteil, in dem ein Solo – Flügelhorn (Cornet) im Mittelpunkt steht, folgt das Anfangsthema, das in einem Grandiosen Finale endet.
