Good anthology; not terribly user-friendly
I've always liked the contents of these (now old!) New Imperial Edition anthologies, but they're SO user-unfriendly--particularly to eyes of a certain age. The printing is, well, clotted, and worst of all, the execrable singing translations sit on the TOP, more prominent line, while the REAL texts in the original languages languish down below in nearly illegible italics. Still, they each contain a very nice selection of varied, appropriate repertoire for my students, and I particularly like the selections in this Tenor volume for my guys who claim they can afford only one book this semester... (Yeah, and I see how much you blew tricking out your ride over the summer...)
