The theme of this children's program from the "Ten Minute Praise" series is the Christmas story and features Scripture readings taken from the accounts of Jesus' birth as recorded in Matthew and Luke. In addition to the Bible readings, four songs are included and interspersed throughout the narrative to highlight the main scenes in the Christmas story. These "Ten Minute Praise" programs give children the opportunity to share their voices through reading (or reciting) and singing when time and resources don't allow for longer, choreographed children's musical programs.
