By Paul Taylor. Composed by Bratton. Arranged by Paul Taylor. This edition: pdf. Children, Pop, Singer/Songwriter. Score. 3 pages. Paul Taylor #1261611. Published by Paul Taylor (A0.1697016).

This tune appeared in 1902 and was designed for dancing a "two-step" dance move. Lyrics were added in 1932, but do not appear here since the lyrics are not yet public domain. It is difficult for young people to appreciate the popularity that this tune had in the early 20th century. People theorized that the "teddy bear" is a cultural phenomena and was very dear to the hearts of Americans. The arranger himself had a "Smoky the Bear Teddy Bear" that was his best friend until about age 3. :).
