Satisfying and cool solos

My percussionist teacher said that the Tom solo has the 8 measures of coolness. The Xylophone part and the Bells work together in the beginning making it a cool combo. If I was asked which was the top 3 best parts,I would say the Toms,Xylophone, and the Glockenspiel/Bells.

Great for beginning Percussion Ensemble

I am doing this with my Sr. High Percussion section at our concert this year and they love it. This is very neat piece with a nice groove. My students took to it right away!
