Composed by Geoffrey Cottrell. Holiday,Instructional,Jazz,Latin,Wedding. Score. 5 pages. Geoffrey Cottrell #10783. Published by Geoffrey Cottrell (A0.866301).

Tango for solo piano is a lively and energetic habanera-style tango that is catchy, great to play and exciting for dancers! The musical flourishes of the main rondo-like theme will inspire dancers and the boldness of this theme is contrasted with some lyrical and singing interludes. There are also some zesty chromatic crunches! The duration of the tango is about three minutes.

Nicely composed and a joy to play
This is a nicely written piece of music that is a joy to perform. The music fits the hands well. There are nice variations on the melody and some places where there are contrasting voices which move the line and add a lot of interest. Technically the piece is not difficult but there are some rhythms that might be difficult for a less experienced performer. I enjoy playing this piece very much.My experience - Degree in Music, Church musician/performer 10+ years
