The piece 'Tambourin' was part of the score for Le Triomphe de la République, RH 618 and scored for Guitar and Flute. This has become one of his best known pieces and is still favoured today by many flutists as an encore. (the performance by Sir James Galway is recommended) However this welll-known piece is equally effective for Violin and Cello and very suitable for busking or street performance.
