This epic Pop song of the 70s deserves a sophisticated arrangement for a vocal ensemble. So this is a challenge for vocalists because so much facets make the original song varied in many ways. The rhythmic patterns of the Wurlitzer Piano had to be transduced to mostly three voices. The Bass voice has to deliver fundamental tone and rhythmic patterns as well. The ambitus in particular for Sopranos and Tenors is huge because I tried to spread the lead vocals widely over all voices. The sequence of the song parts almost completely copies the original Supertramp tune. Only the long floating instrumental Intro was shortened a lot for getting quickly to the first Verse. If you have a crush on the orchestral arrangements of Rodger Hodgson you will enjoy this certainly difficult a cappella arrangement.
