Frances Ridley Havergals prayerful text, "Take My Life and Let It Be", comes to life in this beautiful arrangement of the 19th century hymn. An excellent choice for older children's choir or any treble ensemble, this arrangement incorporates an original, new melody in stanza three providing a refreshing contrast to the traditional HENDON tune found in stanzas one, two, and four. Thoughtful placement of the optional handbell part allows for children's voices to always be heard. In the final stanza, written for children's choir, congregation, and optional handbells, two options for the anthem's conclusion are provided. Voicing: Unison/Two part with organ and optional handbells (2 octaves) Composer: H. A. Cesar Malan (1787-1864) HENDON Arranger: Margaret R. Tucker Text Author: Frances Ridley Havergal.
