Baseball Theme
Just played this (Take Me Out to the Ballgame) for a talent show with our trombone group. It was well received and many people sang along. At first reading we thought is was just a simple ditty, but as we worked it out it was a nice showcase of the various parts. Since our bass trombone can handle it, we added the low B natural in measure 2 and 42, but we lowered some of the top notes an octave to avoid too much jumping around. We would have liked to have had a beginning section in 3/4 and then moved to the 2/4, but it works well as it is. Well worth the money.
