I have put it in the key of G and simplified rhythms to make it accessible to the intermediate player or student. The tempo is slightly slower lending it a mellow, romantic or perhaps melancholy mood. The final section goes up an octave, but equally can simply be repeated in the original octave if that suits the player better. Fingerings are for guidance only, other solutions may be possible for you. I hope you enjoy this version of a beautiful country classic.
