Beethoven's 5th Symphony, his worldwide known masterpiece was asked in 2018 to be arrangend für Symphonic Band by Hansjoerg Angerer, chief conductor of Wind Philharmonic Mozarteum Salzburg. This arrangement is the result. After a first rehearsal project, Angerer asked for a version without saxophones. This was implemented by scoring 2 separate clarinets and doubling alto clarinet and bass clarinet parts. After a concert performance had to be cancelled due to the Corona crisis, that adapted version was recorded together with Beethoven's 6th Symphony by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic, conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer.
