This piece provides a good introduction to ledger lines for a beginning student who already has some familiarity with the grand staff, but wants to bump up the "coolness" factor! The right hand has finger 2 on G, first below middle C in the intro, and then the G above middle C, starting at measure 10, which is a good spot to begin learning the piece. The optional teacher's part provides a basic pulse, and stays out of the way of the student's spotlight.
This piece is fun to play any time of the year, but can be especially appropriate for Halloween.
