This trio was a response to hearing a superb performance of Capriol Suite by a Taiwanese school recorder ensemble. The dances in it a are fairlybtypical of what wouyld be found nin a barouqe dance suite and there is SOME connection between the music in the dances with this strating point. But the etyle is much more like pre Benjamin Britten early English twentieth century English music . And technically challenging.
