I use this method for my private studio. I sing one part and my student sings the other and we switch. It is excellent for younger singers and older beginners to learn how to harmonize, sing independently, learn to sing in tune, and to learn music theory since that is sometimes skipped with singers. It is challenging for some, but it is also fun. It can easily be broken down for different levels. My youngest singers only sing a line at a time. My more experienced singers Great addition to warmups and repertoire.
