What YEAR is this?!?
OK, so the concepts in this book are definitely solid, there's good stuff in here. But there are so many references to the 80s I thought I was in a time warp! It would be nice if the information and sounds were updated just a bit to reflect more modern musical trends.Nonetheless, solid theory is solid theory and thus book covers the basics and building blocks of many musical styles. Definitely worth picking up!
