The music begins with a relaxed, breathy pulse—lazy and sun-drenched—matching the easy fizz of early evening conversation. As midnight approaches, something shifts. The rhythm tightens, the heat seems to thicken, and bodies that were still, begin to sway. That’s the moment the evening’s spark ignites.

Strummed Heat, Midnight Feet is dedicated to my long time friend Chuck Hulihan. It received its first performance on December 12th 2025 at Glendale Community College Performing Arts Center, Glendale, Arizona, USA.

Strummed Heat, Midnight Feet capture la montée lente et séduisante d’une nuit tropicale dans un bar en plein air, là où l’air se fait lourd et chaud, telle une seconde peau. La musique s'ouvre sur une pulsation décontractée, un souffle alangui — paresseux et gorgé de soleil — qui accompagne le pétillement léger des conversations de début de soirée. Puis, à l’approche de minuit, l’atmosphère bascule. Le rythme se resserre, la chaleur semble s’épaissir et les corps, jusqu’alors immobiles, commencent à onduler. C’est à cet instant précis que la soirée s'embrase.
Strummed Heat, Midnight Feet est dédiée à mon ami de longue date, Chuck Hulihan. L'œuvre a été créée le 12 décembre 2025 au Glendale Community College Performing Arts Center, à Glendale, Arizona, États-Unis.
