String Quartet No. 2

The edition includes a part of the optional percussion for the last movement, but for some reason is deliberately not included in the score. This part is also problematic, in that the bars rest count do not include any changes of meter within the bars rest. The opening 28-bar rest, for example, has 15 meter changes, none of them indicated in the part. All this makes performing the piece with percussion rather problematic; at the very least, the percussionist would need the full score for reference, even without the percussion part in the score. There is also the problem of how to interpret the Arabic Drum in the part.
