This string quartet has five movements: Canada, America, Mexico, Brazil and Mayan. Each movement has some connection to its country, except "Mayan".

"Mexico" sounds like a mariachi tune, which I started humming while driving and couldn't get it out of my head. I've checked with several sources and I'm convinced its mine. It is challenging but a fun piece to perfect and perform.

(You might want to start by rehearsing the melody and counter melodies seperately.)

This quartet is appropriate for advanced high school or college level musicians. (Resist the urge to slow it down too much; try another movement.) The movements are independent of each other, allowing you to build a piece of a certain length.
All together it takes about 13-15 minutes.
