If Moby-Dick was rewarding....
Morton Feldman's second string quartet is one of the Most infamous pieces of the 20th century. If you are considering this score, you probably know what you're getting into. It is an extremely useful score that is fairly large and in Feldman's own hand. There should be more reviews of this piece as it teaches one so much about a man and a time.
