Daily Must for cello students
I use this book for all my beginning cello students. I have them warm-up daily with these open string exercises. I'm amazed at the varied ways with bowings and rhythm patterns so there's always and interesting challenge as they progress through the book. Without having to engage the left hand, students can focus on their bowing technique. Book 2 is also excellent for progressing students that will prepare them for the Bach suites.
