Great confidence builder
I use this books for most of my string students (violin, viola, cello). It's easily accessible for beginners, has very nice accompaniment tracks, and it provides an opportunity for beginners to play full length pieces. Most of the pieces are original compositions so they qualify as a choice piece for National Federation of Music Clubs Festival solo events.

Fun collection
Great collection of songs for the beginning level and good sight reading materials for more advanced players (try playing in various positions). Nicely done accompaniments that are easy to follow and could be very motivating for most students (too bad there is an announcement of each track which could be less than desirable if used in performance).
