Stranger on the Shore was a huge hit for British clarinettist Acker Bilk back in the ‘60s and remains the most popular and requested melody for that instrument. This version is arranged as a duet for two Clarinets.
Musicians at all levels from an easy intermediate standard upwards will find this a popular repertoire piece for both formal and informal concert performances, with plenty of interest and variety in both parts. The overall performance time is around two and a half minutes.
