The original score was written in the key of E, and the melody in that key was particularly high, making it a challange to sing. So this score is dropped down to the key of A, which makes it easier to perform. Also, the tempo of the music is a fast cut time, and many of the eighth and sixteenth notes were elimnated to make it easier for the singer to keep up with the tempo.
