This beautiful tenor solo is perfect for a reverent moment in church services or daily devotions, particularly before or after Scripture readings. It helps calm the soul and helps one enter into the peace and presence of God, leaving space to meditate on the words of both the song and Scripture of the day.
It is a reasonably easy arrangement, so as to let the musicians focus on the deep solemnity and unhurried mood of the piece, and is also appropriate for special music perhaps for the offertory or during communion.
