Star Trek is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the starship USS Enterprise and its crew. After its historic 5-year mission, the cast and crew returned for STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE in 1979, spawning a series of films and spin-off TV series. Jerry Goldsmith's score to The Motion Picture is considered one of the film's best qualities, and its iconic theme was later repurposed as the theme to the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation.
This arrangement for band is a direct transcription from Goldsmith's original score (specifically, the concert edition of the film's End Titles segment, which combines the film's main themes as one standalone work), and will require experienced players.
