This intermediate woodwind trio digital download arrangement of "The Star-Spangled Banner" (The U.S. National Anthem) is perfect for pops concerts, patriotic events, American holiday concerts, such as July 4th, Flag Day, or Memorial Day, and military ceremonies. This setting is written for groups ranging from advanced high school groups to college ensembles to professional trios. The arrangement is quite flexible; the flute part can be played by an oboe, and I have included an alternate clarinet part in lieu of a missing oboe and an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon.
Although scored for only three woodwind instruments, this well-written arrangement sounds full and complete and will help you and your audience honor our country during your patriotic events. The U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West's Sierra Winds performed this work during a concert tour at the University of Arizona's School of Music this past February 2026, as well as the arrangement mentioned below of L'Inglesina.
